Web Design: Getting Started

Your website is the modern reception area/ lobby to your company. Your customers will draw quick conclusions about who you are and what you do based on their initial experience with your site. It’s well worth the investment to make sure your website is a professional, polished and cohesive extension of your brand.

Every site I design is fully responsive so your customers get the best experience no matter what device they’re using to view your site. The mobile experience is often different than a desktop and I make sure to cater to those nuances.

I’m happy to work with a developer of your choice, or do the front-end work myself. I’ve completed over 100+ websites and can create a seamless experience from design to development. Nothing gets lost in translation.

You need a blog? No problem. I often work with WordPress and would be happy to set up an easy to use CMS just for you.

Here are some things to consider when preparing to update or create your website:
– What do I want my customer to know as soon as they visit my site?
– What do I want my customer to DO on my site (1st, 2nd, 3rd priorities)?
– What is my main message?
– What content do I have?
– Do I need a blog?
– Do I need a shopping cart?
